Our English 47 teacher insisted that we, 8 English Majors, become leaders of our respective groups for our Literary Criticism paper. Okay, I get the point. What I don’t get is why none of my group mates did the parts they were assigned and now I am stuck doing all the work. WHY?
I’m tempted to CTRL+A and Delete everything I’ve typed down so none of them get to take credit on something I did ALL BY MYSELF. But I can’t let them bring me down. This is my grade, as much as it is theirs. That’s the sad reality of working together as a GROUP.
Anyways, I shall take a break from working to tell you how my day went. You see, today is July 7, 2011. It’s our 16th Monthsary. So, how did it go? Well, I didn’t have class today so I stayed at home til 6pm. Around 6pm, I drove to school to pick up the awesome boyfriend. From there, he took the wheel and we headed to Ket Kai where we walked around trying to decide where to have dinner. We finally settled for Pancake House. JR ordered his favorite—the Jumbo House Burger and Peach Waffles. I ordered Beef Tapa for myself. I was laughing at how JR was eating because he managed to devour the monstrous Burger in just 6 bites. Could you believe that? 6 BITES?
Afterwards, we walked to Bourbon St. Bistro for Coffee and Cake. Yes, we’re foodies. The Red Velvet Cake was amazing. JR and I headed home with full stomachs.
